The South African Sheriff Society came into existence in 2012 when two former sheriff associations merged and became a leader and major role player in the sheriff environment.

Our Vision

To promote the Sheriff’s profession through effective and professional service while upholding the virtues of equality, diversity, dignity and integrity.

Our Mission

Our mission is to serve, protect and promote the Sheriffs’ profession as an important, effective and impartial role player within the Civil Justice System of South Africa.
